DEXTools Review: Bad User Feedback on a Multifunction Tool

DEXTools Review

There is a reason why some companies become industry giants, and others dawdle in mediocrity before falling into obscurity. The unoriginal software solutions this firm provides, unfortunately, make it belong to the latter group.

What’s worse, the opinions of the users that did pay for a premium service are almost universally bad. So, is this service worth it, or should you keep your money where it’s safe – find out in our DEXTolls review.

Who Owns DEXTools Brand?

DEXTools app was developed by a company called STRADEXT DEFI SOLUTIONS, registered in Spain. The company has entered the Central Trade Register of Spanish companies:

STRADEXT DEFI SOLUTIONS Information

This proves the DEXTools legit status as a company focused on managing computer resources, according to the register. That’s far more transparency shown than what the company in our XDEFI review displays, so we recommend you also read that article for more insight.

The website is also transparent when it comes to the ownership team: Javier Palomino Fernández is the CEO and co-founder, Frederic Fernandez is the CMO and co-founder, and Pablo Ojanguren is the CTO.

Furthermore, the business also runs multiple social networks profiles, such as X, Telegram, Medium, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Pros & Cons

While the company may come off as successful, honest and fair, none of the clients that have rated this company on Trustpilot would agree with that.

If you take a look at the DEXTools reviews posted there, you’ll see users complaining about the platform helping rug pull scams, primarily by promoting shady coins. DEXScreener is also being accused of similar activities.

Additionally, even those that have paid money to have their coin advertised on this site claim that their tokens are not promptly updated.

The DEXTools crypto trading app is available for free on App Store and Google Play, yet there’s either no reviews on these sites or there’s insufficient to help us form a valid look on things. Lastly, some Reddit users openly express their concerns about the site’s legitimacy and suspect there to be more than meets the eye.

Pros Cons
Free app for iOS and Android Users claim their coins don’t update promptly
Price alerts via Telegram, mail, desktop Clients complaint about unsuccessful swaps and funds lost
DEXTools API support Interface cluttered
Buy bot, price bot and pairs bot offered Reports about unrealistic coin prices promoted for rug pull projects
Tools, articles, videos and glossary as learning materials Large amount required in wallet to maintain subscription

DEXTools Accounts and Costs

It is unclear which service is the main bread & butter for this company. Much of the site, or the “app” as it is often referred to, revolves around various charting amenities. The DEXTools chart display itself is not original nor was it generated by the company’s proprietary software, but is instead imported directly from TradingView.

While the basic service comes free of charge, there are several paid account types. Instead of relying on a traditional monthly subscription, it requires holding a certain amount of proprietary tokens for a predetermined time period.

DEXTools Paid Account Types

In theory, you’ll get a full service package for life as long as you have enough tokens in your wallet. Keep in mind that a large number of clients complain about being unable to swap the DEXTools token for anything else.

DEXT Token

It is unclear what the company charges for their DEXTools coin. Information on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko put it around $0.5 per unit, though, making these accounts rather expensive. The “Standard” service is also charged $19 per month out of the DEXT balance, meaning you constantly have to purchase additional tokens.

DEXTools Instagram

The company generates additional revenue from renting advertising space to business clients. No cost related information is ever revealed on the website, however, besides the usual “now on discount” sales pitch we commonly see with these sorts of platforms.
