ViaMarketsGo Regulation and Security of Funds

According to its website, ViaMarketsGo is owned by RT Sale LTD from London, UK. Yet, there’s no information on the owner besides the fact it was founded in July 2021 and operated under the domain viamarketsgo.com

Since it’s all not enough, we had to ask – is ViaMarketsGo regulated, and by whom?

Since it’s allegedly in London, the ViaMarketsGo broker should be regulated by the FCA. Meanwhile, we found nothing after reviewing FCA, BaFin, ASIC, and a few more Tier 1 registers.  It means you’re dealing with a scam and your funds are at risk.

Besides, according to ViaMarketsGo reviews, a broker has a reputation as an unscrupulous fraudster, so beware.

ViaMarketsGo Supported Trading Platform

There are two options when choosing the ViaMarketsGo trading platform and those are a webtrader and MT5. However, once you actually try to select MT5, you will see that it’s only available as a mobile app.

Meanwhile, if you want to trade using your desktop, you can choose between a classical web trader and a Status trader. ViaMarketsGo’s web trader is a rather simplified platform that will serve its purpose for inexperienced clients.

Moreover, it has order execution, shows margin level, balance, and you can switch between markets. If you’re looking for more sophisticated things, such as indicators, you probably won’t find what you need.

Status Trader is yet another version of a web trader, but not proprietary. It’s developed based on algorithms and statistics and is said to be custom-made according to traders’ needs.

ViaMarketsGo Account Types Offered

The company offers 6 different account types. Higher account types give you lower spreads and higher bonuses, which is not allowed according to regulations. Their trading account types include the following:

  • Standard – $1,000
  • Gold – $5,000
  • Premium – $10,000
  • Platinum – $25,000
  • VIP – $50,000
  • Elite – $100,000

Spreads are ranging from 0.2 for Elite to 1.8 pips for Standard accounts respectively. Likewise, maximum leverage, which is not allowed with licensed companies, is going up to 1:1000 for lower accounts.

Moreover, bonuses range from 50-100% of the initial deposit. Just remember that the FCA prohibited bonuses, so by this you can tell you are working with nothing more than just another scammer.

Deposit and Withdrawal Options

The brokerage claims to provide “45+ ways of withdrawal and deposit.” This is not the case in their client area, however. They only offer credit/debit cards and some shady electronic payment systems and cryptocurrencies, there is not much choice really.

The minimum deposit amount is S250, which is more than twice what regulated brokers ask for, around $100, and there are some that you can open an account with as little as $10 or even $0. The minimum withdrawal amount is $10.

Viamarketsgo claims they do not charge fees on withdrawals, but there is a clause that if “the Client has made less than five independent transactions, an additional commission of 5% will be charged when withdrawing funds.”

How the Fraud Is Conducted

People sometimes become careless and leave personal information on the internet, and once these investment scams get a hold of them the harassment will likely start.

You will soon be overwhelmed with an enormous number of calls and even emails just so you will at least make a minimum deposit to this fraudulent broker. Be prepared to hear many made-up stories so they would appear more legit in your eyes.

Don’t feel ashamed if you have ever fallen victim to this type of deception, many people do, just be sure to report your scammer. These fraudsters pose as brokers just to take advantage of the general public’s lack of knowledge of trading. And the agents calling are professionals who have many ways to get you on board with making an investment.

ViaMarketsGo Summary

In this ViaMarketsGo review we tried our best to warn you against this offshore scam broker that is trying to convince you they are from the UK. They offer their customers an opportunity to invest in forex, crypto, and much more. However, all you will likely experience is just them pocketing your money and lying to you that some trading is actually taking place on their lousy platform.

If you just search them by their name you will be able to find many complaints made regarding withdrawal issues, so we concluded that you should just stay away from them.

Don’t easily take risks while investing money and keep in mind that this investment scam will demand at least $250 which is almost never seen with a regulated broker.

Lastly, if the broker is claiming to be based in the UK, always check if they have a license issued to them by FCA, which is a must for all brokers operating from there.
