Vie Finance Review: Decent Service With Tarnished Reputation

Operating under a brand name Fortissio, this Greek investment service firm has been around for nearly a decade. The company boasts well-rounded pricing, a diverse set of instruments and solid software support.

Who Owns Vie Finance Brand?

VIE FINANCE A.E.P.E.Y. S.A. is a holding firm established in Athens, Greece, which you may see in the Hellenic GEMI database. The company is operating under two distinct trading names. One of these is the Vie Finance investment firm (viefinance.gr) we are taking a look at today, and the other is an online brokerage named Fortissio (fortissio.com).

In order to provide a more accessible service to foreign clients, the company has established another branch in Germany, called Vie Finance A.E.P.E.Y. S.A. Zweigniederlassung Deutschland. Even though company history goes as far back as 2011, there aren’t many Vie Finance reviews on the web.

Is Vie Finance Regulated?

Vie Finance regulation is rock-solid, with numerous regulatory licenses and a MIFID cross-border business recognition. The first license was issued by HCMC, which you may view on the image below:

Adherence to strict regulatory policies is assured by the more strict BaFIN license, with LB and FI confirming cross-border business authorization.

While all this proves Vie Finance legit, not everything is picture perfect. The company was slammed in 2021 by the authorities and fined 700,000€ for non-compliance with regulatory conditions.

The original HCMC document was archived, but the firm remains blacklisted by KNF. While the situation is not as bad as with FXA Trading for instance, the attached database entry shows just how serious some of the infractions are. Make sure you perform thorough research prior to committing any funds.

Vie Finance Platform Overview

Because the entire investment service works through the brand Fortissio, the viefinance.eu website does not feature any trading environment. The site itself serves mostly for job recruitment purposes.

Because of this, there isn’t a dedicated Vie Finance account for retail traders. Corporate clients need to contact the company representatives in order to receive any information on costs, leverage, or any other investment parameters.

Through Fortissio, however, the company offers the Xcite platform for retail clients, which is available for mobile and desktop devices. The app is not very popular, so it may not be compatible with trading tools like Delta Investment Tracker. Trading account structure is tiered, as you may see from this image:

Users can trade over 300 different CFDs, ranging from Forex, Stocks, Indices, Commodities, ETFs and Synthetic Derivatives.

Maximum leverage for retail clients is 1:30, or 1:200 for professional clients. The firm offers a full disclosure of trading conditions across all asset types, which is available on a dedicated page.

How to Withdraw From Vie Finance Company?

To examine the withdrawal policy, once again we will have to refer to the Fortissio broker service. As there is no Vie Finance login option, clients will have to first access their Fortissio dashboard to request a payout.

Per AML policy, users will only be allowed to withdraw their funds using the same channel that was used for the deposit. Available methods include Debit and Credit Cards, Bank Transfers and E-wallets. Payouts are processed within one business day.
