Who Owns Block Wallet Brand?

Legal documents posted on the website do not explicitly reveal the name of the company that has developed the  Block Wallet app. Neither are individual developers and founders of the project known.

The site does mention a company named Virtual Privacy AG, while their Crunchbase profile shows the firm to have headquarters in Tallinn, Estonia:

Looking through the Estonian business register, we managed to find an entity with this name established in December 2020. Their main representative is an individual called Aleksandras Jonas Gaška:

Although the company’s website went live in July 2019, the firm hasn’t established a large user base or acquired an impressive number of online followers. This vaguely resembles the partially anonymous status of ForexSignal who have been on the market even longer.

Block Wallet is, however, present on LinkedIn, X, Telegram, Discord and GitHub where users can interact with the company representatives and seek support which is available to anyone with the Block Wallet login.

Pros & Cons

In general, there aren’t many Block Wallet reviews, but the majority of them are positive. This still allows some insight into what users think about the product, whereas no such option exists with the anonymous Tradytics

Clients posting their opinions on Trustpilot claim to be content with the overall service. Some say that the product lacks some features and the no fullscreen option can be a major drawback.

Product Hunt users report about being pleased with the beginner-friendly interface with customization options and the firm’s focus on privacy and security. Other reviews on the Chrome extension claim that the tool is easy to use, performs well and is quick.

Block Wallet Features

One of the main features of the Block Wallet web3 app is the fact that the wallet, while hot, is actually self-custodial. This allows the users to have a great deal of control over their assets, even though using a software solution.

Block Wallet Features

Additional Block Wallet hardware wallet support allows users to pair their favorite hardware crypto device with the product for hassle-free transfer of coins and tokens. Some of the supported blockchains and coins include Ethereum, zkSync, Polygon, Fantom, Optimism and more.

The Bridge function lets the clients easily manage their assets over several blockchains. Instead of relying on third party providers, the wallet itself acts as a bridge that allows the flow of cryptos. This function perfectly synergises with Block Wallet swap.

This comes with the added benefit of low Block Wallet fees of 0.05%, as well as an overview of the crypto gas prices.

Managing dApps is made easy through the Block Wallet token revoke function. This lets users reduce risks from third party interference through unused or obsolete dApps, adding to overall security.

The company features their proprietary token, BLANK, which you may track on CoinMarketCap. Unfortunately, the days of the token’s all-time high worth of $5.54 have already passed. Currently, it sits in the sub-dollar value category, being worth ~$0.02.
