Tradiac Review: Scandinavian Proprietary Trading Excellence

Tradiac Review

Known Swedish Prop Trading Brand

Tradiac prop firm is a proprietary trading brand owned by Nordic Funder KB. The parent company is called Nordic Funder Limited Partnership, registered in Märsta, a municipality in the wider Stockholm area in Sweden. The organization was established in 2017 and offers several platforms for funded trading.

Knowing that this group of companies doesn’t provide financial advice or investment services, they do not need to be regulated by jurisdictional financial authorities. That also means that legal directives regulating this niche are not well defined as is with brokerage companies, for example.

In that sense, whenever you are trying to choose a well rounded service which is also safe, you should keep the absence of regulations in mind.

Broker of Choice: Scandinavian Capital Markets

As a Scandinavian prop firm, it’s expected that Tradiac and their umbrella firm partner up with a locally preferred broker. Therefore the firm has partnered up with Scandinavian Capital Markets

This broker is regulated by the Swedish financial authority – Finansinspektionen, also one of the authorities enforcing MiFID regulations. The broker also owns an offshore license, which is not safe to trade under.

Platform: MetaTrader 5

As a trading software employed by the website, users will find MT5 as the default Tradiac platform. This prestigious software has taken over the online trading industry by storm, and as soon as it was released.

Although some argue it came as a successor to the omnipopular MT4, this is a stand-alone platform with far more possibilities and advanced functions.

Traders are Loving It

While the company is not exactly making huge ripples in the market, the traders are quite satisfied with the conditions. The overall ratings score on TrustPilot is overwhelmingly positive, with 88% of Tradiac reviews giving the firm a 5-star rating.

Don’t let this dissuade you from conducting your own independent research, though. Many less credible firms like Hyro Trader are known to pump their ratings score in order to deceive their clients.

Very Approachable Platform

Since the Forex proprietary trading is a niche line of work, providers of these services aren’t exactly mainstream businesses. In order to increase the public exposure, many firms use social networks, and it’s the case with this firm as well.

Whoever is interested in funded accounts may find them on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and YouTube. Additionally, many Tradiac trading aficionados have included the company in their various podcasts.

This is not surprising, considering that the firm has a very good rating score. The real customer magnet, however, are the superior trading conditions, especially the large daily drawdown which clearly separates them from competitors like Only Funds.

Account Options and Prices

Depending on how skilled you consider yourself to be, you can choose which Tradiac challenge you’d like to go with. Since every challenge phase is meant for a certain group of traders based on their knowledge and experience, we advise you to think well before applying. Each test has its own advantages and demands.

TRADIAC

Once you’ve acquired your Tradiac login credentials, you move onto choosing which demo environment you’d like to be tested in. This test requires a 10% profit target to be reached while not breaching the maximum loss of 10%. Here are the prices of accounts with funds available:

  • $10,000 – $95
  • $20,000 – $190
  • $50,000 – $475
  • $100,000 – $950

BRAINIAC

Those who feel more confident about their skills can choose this funded program. In contrast to the previous Tradiac funded account, the profit target of this phase is 20% with the maximum drawdown of 20%. However, higher fees have to be paid for these accounts:

  • $10,000 – $150
  • $20,000 – $280
  • $50,000 – $700
  • $100,000 – $1,500

MANIAC

If you’re a seasoned trader and a professional that has the required set of skills and experience required to pass this challenge, you can choose this challenge. As anticipated, it requires a profit of 30%, with the maximum drawdown of 30%, as well.

While it seems hard to achieve, don’t forget it also allows greater loss. Of course, with that come bigger deposit requirements:

  • $10,000 – $190
  • $20,000 – $380
  • $50,000 – $950
  • $100,000 – $1,900

Trading Rules and Costs

Regardless of the package you choose, there’s certain general rules to follow. For example, maximum leverage ratio is up to 1:20, with a trading commission of $7 per lot traded. Other rules include the possibility of holding trades over the weekends, and overnight, with 30 days being the maximum allowed time for inactivity.

Some of the other terms exclude the possibility of HFT trading, arbitrage trading and scalping, which are considered not allowed.

Profit Split and Payouts

As a general rule of thumb, traders may request payouts of 2% of their starting Tradiac balance twice a month. This is discouraged, though, as it rolls back the progress from leveling up the account.

All of the account types allow a 90% profit share to be paid out. Withdrawals are done via Paypal, which take up to 72 hours to complete, and bank wires which are quite slower, with up to 10 day waiting time.
